Plant Description

Partial shade. Semi-evergreen with long glossy leaves and reddish fruit in autumn. Normally, it is seen as a small shrub in deciduous woodlands, but Carolina buckthorn can reach 15 feet or more in height and 15 feet in width. Despite the name it is thornless.
