Plant Description

Sun/part shade; deciduous (with excellent yellow fall color!) Fragrant pink flowers resemble redbud but appear a bit later in spring. The large seed pods provide winter interest. Can usually be substituted for redbud but its form is lower wider and bushier (it can be trained to an upright tree form with some effort.) A Texas native.
